« Summary »

Chemical Management Center (CMC), National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) maintain and update the data of CHRIP (Chemical Information Platform) on a regular basis.

We have updated the following data on July 2, 2012.

  • Water Pollution Control Law / May 23, 2012
    1,4-Dioxane, trans-1,2-Dichloroethylene and Vinyl chloride monomer added.
  • The results of Chemicals in the Environment-Report on Environmental Survey and Wildlife Monitoring of Chemicals by the Ministry of the Environment / 2010 were added.
    Monitoring of POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) in the atmosphere, living organism, water and sediment. 14 Substances added. 85 Substances revised.
  • Rotterdam Convention on the prior informed consent procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade (PIC) / Oct. 24, 2011
    3 Pesticides(Alachlor, Aldicarb and Endosulfan) added.
  • American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH): -Recommendation of Threshold Limit Values (TLV)/Carcinogenicity Category in the work environment and assessment of carcinogenicity / TLVs and BEI 2012
    5 Substances(o-Phthalodinitrile, 3-Bromo-1-propene, Piperazine, Carbonyl sulfide) added. 2 Substances deleted.
  • International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC): Monographs on the evaluation of Carcinogenic Risks to humans. Vol.103 / Feb. 22, 2012 and Vol.104 / Mar. 27, 2012
    5 Substances(Dibenzothiophene, Petroleum Vacuum Residue, etc.) added. 3 Substances revised.
