It is reported that inhalation of saturated vapour (2,000 ppm (=9.66 mg/L)) to 3 rats resulted in deaths of 1/3 after 0.5 hour (converted to a 4-hour equivalent: 707 ppm (=3.41 mg/L)), 2/3 after 1 hour (converted to a 4-hour equivalent: 1,000ppm (=4.83 mg/L)), and all after 4.9 hours (converted to a 4-hour equivalent: 2,214 ppm (=10.7 mg/L)). A death of 1/3 was reported in 6-hour inhalation at 1,600 ppm (converted to a 4-hour equivalent: 1,960 ppm (=9.46 mg/L)) (PATTY (6th, 2012)). Therefore, the substance was classified in Category 3.
