1 | Acute toxicity (Oral) | Category 4 |
Warning |
H302 |
P301+P312
P264 P270 P330 P501 |
It was classified in Category 4 based on a report on an LD50 value of 625 mg/kg for mice (HSDB (Access on December 2013)). |

7 | Reproductive toxicity | Category 1B |
Danger |
H360 |
P308+P313
P201 P202 P280 P405 P501 |
In a reproductive toxicity test with rats in the oral route (gavage), maternal toxicity (reduced weight gain during pregnancy, significantly increased weights of the liver and spleen) and an increase in the number of days to coitus were observed, but no adverse effects on fertility were found (Assadi, F. K. et al. (1998)). In a developmental toxicity test with rats in the oral route (gavage), there were no signs of maternal toxicity, and specific malformations (cleft palate, kyphosis), growth retardation of fetuses, and fetal death were observed (Beckman, D. A. et al. (1998)). It was classified in Category 1B because in the developmental toxicity test, no maternal toxicity was seen, and developmental toxicity including malformations was found. |
