- - In a 28-day gavage administration test with rats, histological findings (the increased incidence of eosinophilic body in the tubular epithelium) were observed in the kidney of males at the dose (62.2 mg/kg/day (converted guidance value)) corresponding to Category 2, but it was proven by immunostaining that they were caused by alpha-2u globulin specific to male rats (JECDB (Access on September 2013)). Therefore, there were no toxicity findings to support categorization within the dose range corresponding to Category 1-2, but effects on the liver, thyroid, blood system, etc. were found at the limit dose above the guidance value for Category 2. From the above, it corresponds to "Not classified" in the oral route. However, because of no toxicity information on the other routes, the classification is not possible due to lack of data.
