In a 30-minute inhalation exposure test in mice, the dose calculated to reduce the respiratory rate by 50 % (RD50) was reported to be11200 ppm, the anesthetic dose as defined by depression of the righting reflex was reported to be 11600 ppm, and all adverse responses were recoverable after cessation of exposure. (PATTY (5th, 2001)) Furthermore, in an inhalation test in mice, a mixed response appeared after cessation of the sensory irritation response due to pulmonary irritation and anesthesia resulted in a decrease in respiratory rate and tidal volume.
