P262: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P270: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

P361: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
P363: Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
P405: Store locked up.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
Based on the rabbit LD50 value of 20 mg/kg (SIDS (Access on May 2010)), the substance was classified into Category 1.
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Gases) Not applicable - - - - Liquid (GHS definition)
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Vapours) Classification not possible - - - - No data were available. The rat LCLo value of 124 ppm/4hrs was documented (SIDS (Access on May 2010)).
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Dusts and mists) Classification not possible - - - - No data available.
2 Skin corrosion/irritation Classification not possible - - - - No data available.
3 Serious eye damage/eye irritation Classification not possible - - - - No data available.
4 Respiratory sensitization Classification not possible - - - - No data available.
4 Skin sensitization Classification not possible - - - - No data available.
5 Germ cell mutagenicity Classification not possible - - - - The classification was not possible due to lack of in vivo test data. As relevant information, as for in vitro studies, mainly negative results in the Ames test except for weak positive in some studies ("Toxicity Testing Reports of Environmental Chemicals"(Chemicals Investigation Promoting Council) (Access on May 2010), NTP DB (Access on May. 2010)), and positive results in the chromosome aberration test using cultured cells of Chinese hamster (CHL/IU) ("Toxicity Testing Reports of Environmental Chemicals"(Chemicals Investigation Promoting Council) (Access on May 2010), were reported.
6 Carcinogenicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available.
7 Reproductive toxicity Classification not possible - - - - In the combined repeated oral dose toxicity study with the reproduction/developmental toxicity screening test in rats (OECD TG 422), the parental animals exhibited no effects on copulation index, fertility index, gestation period, parturition, and behavior at lactation. There were no differences in the number of live birth, live offspring, sex ratio, and survival index and body weight. In the macroscopic external observation and necropsy, no treatment-related finding was shown ("Toxicity Testing Reports of Environmental Chemicals"(Chemicals Investigation Promoting Council) (Access on May 2010)). For influence on the development of offspring was insufficient because fetal examination at the end stage of gestational period was not performed. Therefore, the substance was classified as "Classification not possible".
8 Specific target organ toxicity - Single exposure Category 1 (nervous system) Danger H370: Causes damage to organs (nervous system) P307+P311: IF exposed: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
P260: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P270: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
P321: Specific treatment (see ... on this label).
P405: Store locked up.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
In the single oral administration study in rats (dose levels: 15 - 84 mg/kg; LD50 value: 31.0 - 41.1 mg/kg), deaths occurred from 15 minutes to one hour after treatment, and clinical signs observed on the day of administration included decreased locomotor activity, ataxic gait, tip toe gait, crouching position, lying on side, tonic convulsions, clonic convulsions, tremors, dyspnea and gasping ("Toxicity Testing Reports of Environmental Chemicals" (Chemicals Investigation Promoting Council) (1992)). Based on the toxic signs described above, the test doses ranged within Category 1 of the guidance values, which led to the classification into Category 1 (nervous system).
9 Specific target organ toxicity - Repeated exposure Category 2 (liver) Warning H373: May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure (liver) P260: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
P314: Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
In the combined repeated oral dose toxicity study with the reproduction/developmental toxicity screening test in rats (OECD TG 422), an enlarged liver was found in males at 30 mg/kg/day, equivalent to Category 2 of the guidance values (converted dose level as that of 90-day study: ca. 14.3 mg/kg/day), which was confirmed histopathologically as centrilobular hypertrophy of hepatocytes and fatty change in hepatocytes ("Toxicity Testing Reports of Environmental Chemicals" (Chemicals Investigation Promoting Council) (Access on May 2010)). Thus, the substance was classified as Category 2 (liver).
10 Aspiration hazard Classification not possible - - - - No data available.

P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
Classified into Category 1 from its 72h-EC50 = 0.14 mg/L for algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) (SIDS, 2004).
11 Hazardous to the aquatic environment (Long-term) Not classified - - - - Classified as "Not classified" since it is rapidly degradable (BOD degradation rate tested by OECD TG301C: 56 - 76% (SIDS, 2004)) and its bioaccumulation potential is estimated to be low (OECD 305C: BCF = 0.21 (SIDS, 2004)) though its acute toxicity is Category 1.
12 Hazardous to the ozone layer Classification not possible - - - - This substance is not listed in Annexes to the Montreal Protocol.
