Additional reports report that exposure to vapours produced respiratory tract irritation in rats (HSDB (2003)) and that mucous membrane irritation and chest discomfort occur during human exposure (PATTY (5th, 2001)). Therefore, the substance was classified into Category 3 (respiratory tract irritation).
