It is known that in humans, the substance induces muscle weakness and changes in viewing field (RTECS (2008)), and at the dose of human oral poisoning (5 - 10 mg, adult), the substance causes such symptoms as transient delirium, excitement, hallucination, manic state, fever, headache, dizziness, ataxia, myasthenia, muscle rigidity, paralysis, tachycardia, blood pressure reduction, tachypnea, pupillary enlargement, ocular pressure elevation, visual disorder, pollakiuria, ischuria, respiratory depression, coma, and bullar paralysis, and as the mechanism, in effectors of cholinergic fibers, the substance competes for receptors against acetylcholine, a signaling substrate, and blocks the effects (Information Files of Acute Poisoning, 2nd edition (1994), Hirokawa Shoten Ltd.).
