As for industrial products, distributions in known flash point data are observed. Category cannot be specified. Therefore, if the flash point is not measured with a real sample, it cannot be judged. The acceptance criteria are as follows: Category 3: 23 degC<= flash point <=60 degC; Category4: 60 degC< flash point <=93 degC
7 Flammable solids Not applicable - - - - Liquid (GHS definition)
8 Self-reactive substances and mixtures Not applicable - - - - There are no chemical groups associated with explosive or self-reactive properties present in the molecule.
9 Pyrophoric liquids Not classified - - - - Flash point: 296degC (ICSC (J), 2001)
10 Pyrophoric solids Not applicable - - - - Liquid (GHS definition)
11 Self-heating substances and mixtures Not classified - - - - UNRTDG Class: 3
12 Substances and mixtures which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases Not applicable - - - - The chemical structure of the substance does not contain metals or metaloids(B, Si, P, Ge, As, Se, Sn, Sb, Te, Bi, Po, At).
13 Oxidizing liquids Not applicable - - - - Organic compounds containing oxygen (but not chlorine and fluorine) chemically bonded only to carbon and hydrogen (but not to other elements).
14 Oxidizing solids Not applicable - - - - Liquid (GHS definition)
15 Organic peroxides Not applicable - - - - Containing no -0-0- structure
16 Corrosive to metals Not classified - - - - UNRTDG Class: 3

HEALTH HAZARDS
Hazard class Classification Symbol Signal word Hazard statement Precautionary statement Rationale for the classification
1 Acute toxicity (Oral) Category 4 Warning H302: Harmful if swallowed P301+P312: IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P270: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
P330: Rinse mouth.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
Category 4 based on SPECIES: Rat; ENDPOINT: LD50; VALUE: 1660mg/kg; REFERENCE SOURCE: PATTY(4th, 1994)
1 Acute toxicity (Dermal) Not classified - - - - Based on rabbit dermal LD50 value = 6800 - 9400mg/kg (Japan Society for Occupational Health recommendation (1993)), it was set as the outside of Category.
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Gases) Not applicable - - - - Liquid (GHS definition)
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Vapours) Classification not possible - - - - No data available
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Dusts and mists) Classification not possible - - - - No data available
2 Skin corrosion/irritation Category 2 Warning H315: Causes skin irritation P302+P352: IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
P332+P313: If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P280: Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
P321: Specific treatment (see ... on this label).
P362: Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
It was seto as Category 2 from description that the skin was stimulated in the humans (ICSC (J) (2001), HSDB (Access on Jume 2005), SITTIG (4th, 2002)), description that there was possibility of skin irritation (HSFS (2000)), and description that transient erythema was seen by repeated dermal exposure to the rabbit (PATTY (4th, 1994)).
3 Serious eye damage/eye irritation Classification not possible - - - - We found the descriptions that the irritative symptom in the eyes were acknowledged in the human cases of prolonged inhalation exposure of the concentrated vapors (PATTY (4th, 1994) and Japan Society for Occupational Health Recommendation of Occupational Exposure Limits (1993)). However, we found no reports of cases about the animal test result in which this compound (liquid) was directly applied to the eyes or reports in which it entered into the human eye. Therefore we could not classify it for the insufficiency of data.
4 Respiratory sensitization Classification not possible - - - - No data available
4 Skin sensitization Classification not possible - - - - No data available
5 Germ cell mutagenicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available
6 Carcinogenicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available
7 Reproductive toxicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available
8 Specific target organ toxicity - Single exposure Category 3 (Narcotic effects) Warning H336: May cause drowsiness or dizziness (narcotic effects) P304+P340: IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
P403+P233: Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
P261: Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
P271: Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
P312: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
P405: Store locked up.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
Because of descriptions in ACGIH (7th, 2001) and Japan Society for Occupational Health recommendation (1993) referring to confirmation of anesthetic actions in oral administration to rabbits, it was judged that there were anesthetic actions, and determined to be Category 3.
9 Specific target organ toxicity - Repeated exposure Classification not possible - - - - Classification not possible due to lack of data
10 Aspiration hazard Classification not possible - - - - No data available
