1 Acute toxicity (Oral) Category 4 Warning H302: Harmful if swallowed P301+P312: IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P270: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
P330: Rinse mouth.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
Calculated based on rat LD50 values: 250mg/kg (ACGIH 7th, 2001, PATTY 4th, 1994), 480mg/kg (ACGIH 7th, 2001), 860mg/kg (PATTY 4th, 1994), and 1190mg/kg (PATTY 4th, 1994). Since the calculated values was 354.8mg/kg, it was set as Category 4.
1 Acute toxicity (Dermal) Classification not possible - - - - No data available
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Gases) Not applicable - - - - Liquid (GHS definition)
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Vapours) Classification not possible - - - - No data available
1 Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Dusts and mists) Classification not possible - - - - No data available
2 Skin corrosion/irritation Not classified - - - - From descriptions that irritation was not observed in the rabbit skin irritation test (ACGIH (7th, 2001) and PATTY (4th, 1994)), it was classified as out of Category.
3 Serious eye damage/eye irritation Not classified - - - - From description that change of the eye disappeared within 24 hours by the test applied to the eye of the rabbit (ACGIH (7th, 2001), PATTY (4th, 1994)), it was set as the outside of Category.
4 Respiratory sensitization Classification not possible - - - - No data available
4 Skin sensitization Classification not possible - - - - No data available
5 Germ cell mutagenicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available
6 Carcinogenicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available
7 Reproductive toxicity Classification not possible - - - - No data available
8 Specific target organ toxicity - Single exposure Category 1 (nervous system, blood vessels), Category 2 (blood) Danger
Warning
H370: Causes damage to organs (nervous system, blood vessels)
H371: May cause damage to organs (blood)
P307+P311: IF exposed: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
P260: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P270: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
P321: Specific treatment (see ... on this label).
P405: Store locked up.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
P309+P311: IF exposed or if you feel unwell: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
Due to the descriptions that the effect to nervous system in human (disruption in the organization of the visual evoked response) was observed in exposure example of human in ACGIH (7th, 2001) and PATTY (4th, 1994), that the hypotension was observed in the range of guidance value of Category 1 in the dermal dose study using the rat in PATTY (4th, 1994), and that the effects to the blood was observed in the range of guidance value of Category 2 in the inhalation exposure study using the rat in PATTY (4th, 1994). So they were classified into Category 1 (nervous system, blood vessel) and Catgory 2 (blood).
9 Specific target organ toxicity - Repeated exposure Category 1 (nervous system), Category 2 (blood, liver) Danger
Warning
H372: Cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure (nervous system)
H373: May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure (blood, liver)
P260: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
P264: Wash ... thoroughly after handling.
P270: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
P314: Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to ...
From description that the influence on a nerve systems (alteration in the visual-evoked response) becomes strong by repeated exposure in the human inhalation exposure test of ACGIH (7th, 2001) and PATTY (4th, 1994), it was classifed in Category 1 (nervous system). Moreover, based on the description in ACGIH (7th, 2001) and PATTY (4th, 1994) that the effects on the liver and blood were seen with the given dose of the guidance value range of Category 2 by the inhalation exposure test using a dog and an ape, it was classified in Category 2 (blood, liver).
