Inhalation studies in rats provide evidence of edema, congestion and necrosis in the brain, fibrosis in the heart and tetraplegia (Agricultural Chemical Registration Data : Methyl Bromide). Evidence of testicular atrophy was also found. The effects on experimental animals were observed at dosing levels within the guidance value ranges for Category 1.
